Dr. Alex is a licensed psychologist who received training in psychological assessment at Widener University. She offers brief psychodiagnostic assessments for adults seeking a better understanding of their symptoms and diagnosis.

Her approach integrates an in-depth clinical interview, standardized measures, and consideration of your personal history, current functioning, and broader psychological context. The goal isn’t to simply assign a label but to develop a more nuanced understanding of your experience AND provide meaningful recommendations for next steps.

Brief psychodiagnostic assessments are not a substitute for more in-depth neuropsychological assessments for folks who are seeking special accommodations with college or work. They are not appropriate for folks with suspected cognitive impairment, such as dementia. Dr. Alex is an out-of-network provider and her rates vary from $440 to $800 depending on the complexity of the referral question.

Looking for clarity about a possible diagnosis?

In therapy already but you and your therapist feel stuck? Are you curious about what’s really going on and which diagnosis makes the most sense for you? Are you wondering if your diagnosis got missed because you’ve been good at compensating or just dealing with your symptoms over the years?

So many disorders have common features. Difficulties with attention, emotional regulation, motivation, or relationships can have many underlying causes, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, autism, perimenopause, and other psychological or developmental factors. However, once that label is on your chart, it can feel final even if it doesn’t fit your experience anymore.
